Industry Partnerships

Our Mission

Focus EduSolutions is revolutionizing workforce readiness by bridging the gap between higher education and industry education in creating truly innovative micro-credentials that are built to the needs of the industry today and the job demands of tomorrow. We are committed to empowering our higher education partners in strengthening their role in workforce education in their local economies and committed to our industry partners in working with them to create truly transformational learning products for their workforce. To meet the educational, sociological, and economic changes of the future, higher education and industry must work together to meet the needs of all learners, who are our future. Focus EduSolutions is changing the future of workforce education in America.

Our Method

We bridge the gaps between higher education and industry, by creating micro-credentials that are built by industry experts and backed by professional associations of the industry. It is critical that our micro-credentials provide the skills and competencies needed to be successful in the industry in real-time, enabling our industry partners to up-skill and reskill their workforce to meet changing industry demands now.

We have a strong ecosystem that brings together key players in the pursuit of both industry education and personal professional development, this includes our higher education partners, professional associations, industry organizations, government entities, and students/the future of the workforce.

With our partners organizations, we are committed to creating micro-credentials that promote a sustainable and equitable world across a number of industries such as manufacturing, construction, logistics, food truck entrepreneurship, cannabis education, insurance industry, and more!

The Key Players

Higher Education Institutions
Professional Associations
Industry Organizations
Government Entities

Higher Education Institutions

We are partnered with many institutions of higher education throughout the US and are working on plans for global expansion. Our partners represent private and public institutions, HBCUs, HSIs, Land-grant Institutions, Technical Colleges, and Community Colleges.

The Role of Professional Associations

Professional associations play a strong role in serving their industry membership, molding the future of the industry, and possess keen insights into the needs, trends, and future of their industry. We hold our industry association partners and their subject matter experts in the highest regard, as they are all committed to improving their industries and driving the change of the American workforce. Our credentials are built by professionals of the industry, who live this work daily and know what it takes to be successful in a career in their field. We bring the work of the industry associations and higher education together to offer students the highest quality workforce education through stellar institutions of higher education.

Associations play a strong role in promoting education in their industry and it should be designed by them.

This is our commitment!
We seek to work with associations that promote or represent people of color, women, and others who need greater representation in their industries, in addition to those who are committed to growth through sustainable and equitable means.

The Role of Industry Organizations

Industry partnerships play variety of important roles to our students, such as:

  • Subject Matter Expertise in credential development
  • On-site training for students
  • Webinars for students/trainees
  • Internships and externships for university students in the program
  • Hiring preference for students with micro-credentials

Government Entities

We do extensive research and outreach to state and local governments and their workforce development boards to help institutions to realize the benefits of grants and other funding available through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunities Act (WIOA) that are specifically dedicated to workforce development training designed to grow and support local economies. Many students qualify for need based funds, in addition to broader institutional grant funds used for scholarships for students to obtain workforce credentials.

The Students - The Workforce

Students are the future of the American and global workforce, and that is our why. When our students benefit, we all benefit. Our students are the workforce of industry, are the students of higher education, and are the future of our world. We offer many student support services to ensure that students are successful in completing their credentials that will allow them to move forward in their careers and make a difference.
